WASHINGTON - The George Washington women's water polo team will host a toy drive to benefit Dr. Bear's Closet at Children's National Medical Center at the GW men's water polo Senior Day/Alumni Day match against Johns Hopkins on Saturday, Sept. 28.

Toys will be collected prior to and during the Colonials' game against the Blue Jays, which begins at 7 p.m. All toys must be new to meet the hospital's infection control requirements. Other donation guidelines can be found here, and a list of suggested donations can be found here.

Dr. Bear's Closet provides items to thousands of patients who are treated in Children's National inpatient units, the Emergency Department, Regional Outpatient Centers and Health Centers. Toys also help stock playrooms in the hospital.
