GW Women's Cross Country Competes at Paul Short Invitational

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - The George Washington women's cross country team competed at the Paul Short Invitational against a field comprised of nationally and regionally ranked teams on Saturday afternoon on the campus of Lehigh University.

Graduate student Angela Ryck was the top GW performer for the fourth consecutive event to start the season, finishing the 6,000-meter course in 22:27 to place 177th.

Freshman Macaulay Porter was next across the line for GW, finishing in 23:13 for 263rd place.

Junior Erica Halvorson (24:19, 310th) and sophomores Caroline Wolfe (24:54, 320th) and Katie Bishop (25:03, 321st) rounded out the Colonials' lineup.

The Colonials tied for 47th out of 47 teams.

GW returns to Pennsylvania on October 19 for the Leopard Invitational hosted by Lafayette College.
