GW Women's Cross Country Finishes 21st at Mid-Atlantic Regional

Official Results | @GWCrossCountry STATE COLLEGE, Pa. - Seniors Heather Stevens and Juliana Stern each set personal records as the George Washington women's cross country team ran to a 21st-place finish out of 31 teams at the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional on the Blue-White Golf Courses on Friday afternoon. Stevens finished in 22:07, setting a new 6,000-meter personal record on the way to a 55th-place finish out of 215 total runners. She was followed by classmate Stern in 22:48 (87th). Next across the line for GW was senior Julia Weir (23:14, 119th). She was followed by freshman Caroline Wolfe (24:03, 158th), sophomore Katie Luker (24:31, 174th) and freshman Katie Bishop (25:30, 195th). GW concludes its 2012 season at the IC4A/ECAC Championship at Van Cortland Park in New York City on November 17th.
