MECHANICSVILLE, Va. - Sophomore Ryan Tucker finished in 20th place overall out of 117 competitors to lead the George Washington men's cross country team to a 11th-place finish at the Atlantic 10 Championship on Saturday at Pole Green Park.

Tucker's time of 24:41 stands as the fastest time by a GW harrier at the Atlantic 10 Championship in program history. The Rutherford, N.J., native improved on his time from last year's A-10 Championship by nearly two-and-a-half minutes.

Freshman Jordan Pantalone was next across the finish line for the Colonials, taking 74th place in 25:47, a new personal record by 56 seconds. He was followed by classmate Seamus Roddy, who finished in 25:53 for 77th place. Roddy's time was also a personal best in college.

Junior Tyler Gillies finished in 90th place in 26:13, which was a new personal record in the 8K by 1:20.

Rounding out the Colonials' lineup was sophomore Kyle Ames (93rd, 26:29) and senior Marco Siragusa (101st, 26:42). Siragusa's time also marks a new personal record by 1:25.

On the women's side, freshman Macaulay Porter led the Colonials in 29th place overall out of 111 competitors for her second consecutive top finish. The Santa Monica, Calif., native navigated the 5,000-meter course in 18:03, her best time of the season at that distance.

Graduate student Angela Ryck was next across the line for GW in 18:14 for 38th place. She was followed by juniors Erica Halvorson (87th, 19:23) and Katie Luker (98th, 19:50), who both set new 5K personal records.
