WASHINGTON, DC - George Washington All-American senior Megan Hogan will make her third consecutive appearance at the NCAA Cross Country Championships on Monday afternoon and attempt to become the first athlete in GW athletics history to win an individual national championship.

Indiana State University will host the Championships, November 22, at the LaVern Gibson Championship Course in Terre Haute, IN. The 6K women's race will begin at approximately 12:08 pm EST. A live webcast of the championships will be broadcast from noon to 1:30 p.m. on NCAA.com.

2010 has been a year of repeats for Hogan. On October 30th she repeated as the Atlantic 10 individual champion with a record setting performance, followed by becoming a repeat recipient of the A-10 women's cross country Performer of the Year award. On November 9th, Hogan won her second consecutive Atlantic 10 Student-Athlete of the Year Award, followed by qualifying for her third straight NCAA Championship.

Last year, Hogan ran to a 27th-place finish after being inadvertently tripped at the 800 meter mark. She dropped from 15th place to 60th place in a matter of seconds. Hogan then battled back to 22nd-place overall before finishing 27th in 20:34, which was 36 seconds faster than her Nationals time in 2008. She finished in 96th-place at Nationals in 2008.
