HYATTSVILLE, Md. - The George Washington women's track team competed in its first indoor meet of the calendar year on Saturday at the Terrapin Invitational at the Prince George's County Sports and Learning Complex.

The highlight of the meet was the mile where senior Lauren t'Kint de Roodenbeke paced a trio of Colonials in the top five when she won the event, besting 39 competitors, with a time of 5:09.01. She was joined in the top five by junior Halley Brown (3rd, 5:12.63) and sophomore Suzanne Danneheim (5th, 5:14.10).

GW will split its squad next Saturday, January 28, to compete at both the Wesley A. Brown Invitational at Navy and Patriot Games at George Mason.
