Women's Track Sets Multiple PRs at Terrapin Invitational
Colonials place ninth overall in second meet of indoor season
HYATTSVILLE, Md. - Twelve new personal records highlighted a strong afternoon for the George Washington women's track team at Saturday's Terrapin Invitational at the Prince George's Sports and Learning Complex.
GW placed ninth out of 14 teams on the afternoon with the Colonials combining for four top-10 finishes across a pair of distance events in the 3000m and mile.
In the 3000m, sophomore Halley Brown finished second overall with a new personal-record time of 10:13.80 while senior Macaulay Porter also set a career best by taking fourth place in 10:25.90.
