GW Women's Track Runs at Maryland Invite
Colonials Record Two Top-10 Finishes in 3000m
COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The George Washington women's outdoor track team placed two runners amongst the top 10 in the 3,000-meter run at the Maryland Invitational at the Kehoe Track Facility on Saturday.
Freshman Lauren t'Kint de Roodenbeke was GW's top performer in the 1,500-meter run, posting GW's best time of the outdoor season, finishing in 4:44.07 for 13th place out of 46 competitors.
Sophomore Liberty Mason-Sharma won her heat in the 100-meter hurdles, placing 13th overall in 17.06. She also finished in second place in her 400-meter hurdles heat in 1:13.75 to clinch 10th overall.
GW will return to action at the VerKlasse Invitational, April 3-4, in High Point, North Carolina.
