Women's XC Runs at George Mason Invite on Saturday

LEESBURG, Va. - The George Washington women's cross country team wrapped its weekend on Saturday morning at the George Mason Invitational at Oatlands Plantation.

Notes

  • GW finished in sixth place out of eight teams.
  • Three GW harriers made their collegiate debut at the 6,000-meter distance.
  • The sophomore duo of Gabriella Vlattas and Rachel Gallivan led the Colonials with a pair of top-25 finishes. Vlattas took 23rd in 23:49.60, followed by Gallivan in 23:58.20.
  • Oatlands Plantation is the site of the 2017 Atlantic 10 Championship on October 29.
