Women's Indoor Track Performs Well at Navy Lid-Lifter
Five set new PRs in Colonials' indoor debut
ANNAPOLIS, Md. - The George Washington women's track team commenced its indoor season on Tuesday night at Navy's Lid-Lifter Meet at Wesley A. Brown Field House.
Junior Madison Yerke highlighted GW's performances by placing fourth overall in the 3,000-meter run in a new personal-record time of 10:09.11. She bested her previous mark of 10:37.68 by nearly 28 seconds.
Also in the 3000m, junior Lesley Fatica won her heat and set a new personal record with a time of 10:41.69. She placed ninth overall in the standings.
