BACK TO ACTION: George Washington's men's and women's track teams will be in action for the first time since December 5 when the squads head to a pair of local meets on Saturday. The men's team will head to Annapolis, Maryland, for the Wesley A. Brown Invitational at the United States Naval Academy. The women's squad makes the short trip to Landover, Maryland, for the Terrapin Invitational.
SNOWED IN: Both teams were scheduled to compete at last weekend's Captain Invitational, hosted by Christopher Newport University, but elected to stay put in Washington, D.C., due to the blizzard conditions that crippled travel in the Mid-Atlantic region.
LAST TIME OUT: The men's team last competed on December 5 at the CNU Holiday Open. The Colonials placed third in the five-team field led by a win in the 3000m by senior Ryan Tucker. Three Colonials also placed among the top 10 in the mile, with each posting new personal records at that distance.
A LOOK AHEAD: Both teams will compete at the Armory Invitational in New York, New York, next week before turning attention to the upcoming Atlantic 10 Championships, Feb. 20-21 in Kingston, Rhode Island.
