GW Women's Track in Action at Vince Brown Invite on Sunday

WASHINGTON - The George Washington women's track team is scheduled to compete in a total of seven events at Sunday's Vince Brown Invitational hosted by Christopher Newport University at the Freeman Center.

GW has competed in nine events across three indoor meets this season but will compete in a hurdles event for the first time in program history on Sunday when sophomore Liberty Mason-Sharma competes in the 60-meter hurdles.

The Colonials are also scheduled to compete in the 60m dash, 200m run, 400m run, 800m run, mile and 5000m run.

Graduate student Hannah Rowe has led the Colonials this indoor season with a total of four top-two finishes. She took first in the mile at the Collegeville Indoor Classic while anchoring GW's distance medley relay to a win. She also finished first in the 3000m at last weekend's Patriot Games and took second in the event at the Maryland Indoor Invitational.
