GW Indoor Track Concludes A-10 Championship

KINGSTON, R.I. - George Washington's men's and women's indoor track teams concluded competition at the Atlantic 10 Championship on Sunday afternoon at the University of Rhode Island's Mackal Field House.

The afternoon was highlighted by junior Ariana North's personal-best performance in the 3,000-meter run. She finished in 10:32.90, a three-second improvement on her previous record, placing 17th overall in the field of 28 competitors.

Three Colonials competed in the men's installment of the 3000m, with senior Ryan Tucker pacing the trio with a time of 8:42.82 for 11th place out of 21 competitors. Sophomore Ryan DePinto followed in 8:46.29 (15th place) while junior Seamus Roddy recorded a time of 8:57.01.

GW's men also competed in the 4x800 meter relay for the first time in indoor program history. The quartet of Sawyer Bilton, Rob Craven, Carter Day and Jordan Pantalone recorded a time of 8:03.17.

Select runners will continue their indoor seasons at the Mason Last Chance Invitational on March 5 in Fairfax, Virginia.
