Two GW Women's Track Athletes Named All-Conference at A-10 Championships

Graduate student Hannah Rowe and freshman Lauren t'Kint de Roodenbeke each earned All-Conference honors at this weekend's Atlantic 10 Championships.

KINGSTON, R.I. - Graduate student Hannah Rowe earned her second All-Conference honor of the weekend to lead George Washington men's and women's indoor track student-athletes at the Atlantic 10 Indoor Track Championships at Mackal Field House.

Rowe placed fifth overall in the 3,000-meter finals, eclipsing her previous personal mark by 12 seconds, to earn her second All-Conference honor of the weekend. The St. Johnsbury, Vermont native also finished sixth in Saturday's 5,000-meter final.

Rowe's time in the 3,000m qualifies her for the ECAC Indoor Championships on March 6 in Boston, Massachusetts.

Freshman Miranda DiBiasio also set a personal-best time in the 3,000m, finishing in 10:24.54 for 20th place.

Freshman Lauren t'Kint de Roodenbeke was also named All-Conference on Saturday after she finished fourth out of 19 competitors in the women's mile. Competing as the only freshman in the race, she finished with a mark of 5:00.76, a personal-best time by four seconds. Her time also qualifies her for the ECAC Indoor Championships.
