GW Outdoor Track Heads to Morgan State Legacy

WASHINGTON - George Washington's men's and women's outdoor track teams will return to action at this weekend's Morgan State Legacy on Friday and Saturday at Hughes Stadium in Baltimore, Maryland.

Both the men and women will compete in the 3,000-meter Steeplechase on Friday. Junior John-Louis Pane and sophomore Jordan Pantalone will run for the men while sophomore Ariana North will compete for the women.

North posted the Atlantic 10's eighth-best women's Steeplechase time at the VertKlasse Meeting on April 3 with a time of 11:39.62. Pane (9:48.33) and Pantalone (10:00.04) rank 10th and 14th in the conference, respectively.

On Saturday, the women's team will also compete in the 400-meter hurdles, 1,500-meter run, 100-meter hurdles, 400-meter run, 800-meter run, 200-meter dash and 5,000-meter run.

Freshman Miranda DiBiasio's personal-best time of 17:47.36 at the VertKlasse Meeting stands as the 12th-best 5000m time in the A-10 this outdoor season.

The men will compete in the 400m hurdles, 1500m, 110m hurdles and 5000m on Saturday.

Junior Ryan Tucker finished in sixth place overall out of 63 competitors in the 5000m on April 4 at the VertKlasse Meeting.
