GW Track Concludes Competition at A-10 Championship

FAIRFAX, Va. - Freshman Miranda DiBiasio earned All-Conference honors in the 5,000-meter run to highlight the George Washington outdoor track teams' final day of competition at the 2015 Atlantic 10 Championship on Sunday at George Mason Stadium.

DiBiasio finished in eighth place in the 5000m with a personal-best time of 17:30.94. She joins teammate Ariana North (3000m Steeplechase) and men's team member John-Louis Pane (3000m Steeplechase) as the first Atlantic 10 Outdoor Track All-Conference Performers in program history.

Senior Erica Halvorson also competed in the 5000m and registered a personal-best time of 19:19.54.

Also for the women's team on Sunday, freshman Lauren t'Kint de Roodenbeke and sophomore Caroline Wolfe each posted personal-best times in the 1,500-meter run. t'Kint finished in 4:41.91 while Wolfe tallied a time of 4:55.11.

Sophomore Liberty Mason-Sharma also registered a personal record on Sunday, running the 100-meter hurdles preliminaries in 16.86.

On the men's side, junior Rob Craven posted a personal-best time of 4:07.22 to lead the Colonials in the 1500m. The freshmen duo of Charles Arnold (4:12.77) and Chris Shaffer (4:14.36) also competed in the event.



The Colonials are scheduled to compete at the Swathmore Last Chance meet on May 11 in Swathmore, Pennsylvania.
