Track Set for A-10 Outdoor Championships This Weekend
Colonials look to carry recent momentum into conference meet
LEADING OFF: Sixteen student-athletes from George Washington's men's and women's outdoor track teams are slated to compete at this weekend's Atlantic 10 Outdoor Track & Field Championships this weekend at the University of Massachusetts Track & Field Complex in Amherst, Massachusetts.
RIDING MOMENTUM: Now in its fourth full season as a year-round running program, student-athletes from both programs continue to consistently set new personal records while breaking program records.
This outdoor season has seen a total of 15 new program records set across the men's and women's programs. For a full look at the outdoor track record book, click here.
A-10 FORMAT: The two-day championship meet begins with Saturday's trials where the top nine finishers from each event will advance to Sunday's finals.
A quartet of event championships will be contested on Saturday, including the 10,000-meter run (Miranda DiBiasio) and both the men's and women's 3,000-meter steeplechase (Jordan Pantalone and Lesley Fatica).
