GW Announces 2014 Cross Country Schedule
Colonials to Run in Three Local Events in Fall

WASHINGTON - George Washington's men's and women's cross country teams will compete in four regular-season races leading up to the 2014 Atlantic 10 Championship, fourth-year head coach Terry Weir has announced.
Three of the four events will be run in the Washington, D.C. metro area starting with the season-opening Catholic Invitational in Northeast Washington on September 6.
The Navy Invitational will be held on September 13 in Annapolis, Maryland, with the women's team competing in the Salty Dog Invitational and the men's team running in the Navy Invitational.
The Colonials continue their local tour at the George Mason Invitational on October 4 in Leesburg, Virginia, before concluding the regular season at the Princeton Invitational in Princeton, New Jersey, on October 18.
The Atlantic 10 Championship will be held on November 2 at Schenley Park in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
The last time the event was held at Schenley Park, Megan Hogan '10 won her second consecutive Atlantic 10 Championship in a then conference-record time of 16:56.
Hogan went on to become a two-time All-American with an eighth-place finish at the 2010 NCAA Championship meet.
The NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regionals will be run on November 14 in State College, Pennsylvania ahead of the NCAA Cross Country Championships on November 22 in Terre Haute, Indiana.
