GW Cross Country Announces Cross Country Schedule

WASHINGTON -- George Washington's men's and women's cross country teams will run in four regular-season meets leading up to the 2015 Atlantic 10 Championship, head coach Terry Weir has announced.

The Colonials will open the 2015 season at the Mount St. Mary's Duals in Emmittsburg, Maryland, on Friday, September 4. The Colonials last competed at the Mount St. Mary's Duals in 2013 with the men taking third place and the women finishing in fifth place.

The next weekend the teams will head to Annapolis, Maryland to compete in the Navy Invitational. The women will run in the annual Salty Dog Invitational while the men run in the Navy Invitational.

GW returns to the Paul Short Invitational at Lehigh University in Lehigh, Pennsylvania on Saturday, October 3 before concluding the regular season at the Princeton Invitational on Saturday, October 15 in Princeton, New Jersey.

The University of Richmond will host the Atlantic 10 Championship on Saturday, October 31 at Pole Green Park in Mechanicsville, Virginia. The last time the event was held at that venue, then-sophomore Ryan Tucker set the school record for performance at an A-10 championship with a time of 24:21 in 2013.

The NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional will be held on Friday, November 13 in Princeton, N.J.
