STATE COLLEGE, Pa. - Sophomore Macaulay Porter led a trio of George Washington women's cross country harriers with a 71st-place finish out of 196 competitors at Friday's NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional at the Blue/White Golf Courses.

Porter, an Atlantic 10 All-Conference performer, navigated the 6,000-meter course in 22:15 on a cold, breezy and cloudy afternoon. Her time marked a two-second improvement from last season's Mid-Atlantic Regional.

Freshman Miranda DiBiasio concluded her impressive freshman cross country season by recording a time of 22:30 for 91st place.

Senior Kathryn Luker rounded out GW's trio with a time of 24:04 (164th place). Luker shaved 22 seconds off of her 6K time from the 2012 Mid-Atlantic Regional.

GW now turns its attention to its return to indoor track. The Colonials make their indoor debut on Friday, November 5 at the Navy Invitational in Annapolis, Maryland.
