The home of the George Washington University men's and women's cross country teams is scenic Bull Run Park located in Centreville, VA. Bull Run consists of deep woods and rolling terrain and served as the host site for the 1997 Atlantic 10 Cross Country Championship Meet.

In addition to training on their home course, the teams practice along the shores of the Potomac River and the National Monument grounds, striding wooded trails in historic Rock Creek Park or surging along the C & O Canal Path.

The teams also practice on nearby Theodore Roosevelt Island which features 2.5 miles of rugged trails through a lush 88-acre wilderness preserve in the middle of the Potomac River. The challenging terrain of Battery Kimble Park also prepares the Colonials for the toughest courses.
